An 8-week, in-person small-group course where students learn what interviewers are really looking for — then practice it every week in live mock interviews with individual feedback.
Why Interview Skills, and Why Now?
A skill kids use far earlier than their first job
Long before their first job interview, our kids are already being interviewed: private and magnet school admissions, summer program applications, student club elections, leadership positions, competition panels. The students who can listen actively, tell their own story, and connect with an interviewer stand out everywhere — and these are learnable skills, best built early.
Over 8 weeks, students will learn what interviewers actually look for, practice active listening, turn their own experiences into memorable stories, research and prepare like professionals, and complete multiple rounds of live mock interviews with individual feedback every single week.

What Students Will Learn
What interviews are and why they matter — School, club, program, and professional interviews — taught through mock-interview examples of what works and what doesn't.
What interviewers actually look for — Students study a real recruiting guide, then interview each other and the instructor.
Active listening — A practical framework and phrases, practiced in pairs and reflected on in writing.
Telling their own story — Turning personal experiences into memorable anecdotes that match the traits interviewers want, and finding common ground with any interviewer.
Preparing like a pro — Researching, building their own interview guide, and getting it reviewed one-on-one.
Two full weeks of live practice — School and club interview scenarios, with every student interviewed individually and coached in front of supportive peers.

Why In-Person Matters
Real practice, in front of a real audience
Interviews happen face to face — so should the practice. In our classroom, students learn what no online class can teach: eye contact, posture, handshakes, reading the room, and managing real nerves in front of a real audience.
With only 4–8 students per section, every child is individually interviewed and coached in front of supportive peers each week — the closest thing to a real interview panel, in a safe place to make mistakes and grow.
