Makers Club is a unique unit activity organized by MGA that aims to encourage students to develop engineering skills and provide them with a space for creative expression. During club meetings, children not only experience the joy of learning science but also have the opportunity to explore their own interests and unleash their imagination. We welcome children aged 5 to 12 to participate!

Balloon-powered Car

Create a car and decorate it with doodles. Power the car using a balloon attached to the rear, and compete to see whose car can run the fastest and most stable.
Wired Combat Robot

Utilize two micro switches to control a motor's forward and reverse movement, enabling the car to move forward and backward. This setup allows for a wired combat robot.
Light-Up Badge

Create a simple and fun light-up badge using acrylic and electronic components. The badge can be customized, emitting a glowing light effect.
Air Cannon

When we launch an air cannon, the air is compressed instantly. The other parts of the air cannon are sealed, allowing the air to rush forward only from the opening, creating a powerful impact force.
Wearable LED Lights

Utilize conductive sewing thread as wires and design based on creativity. Connect multiple LED panels and battery boards in series or parallel to create a simple circuit for building wearable LED lights.
Ping Pong Ball Launcher

Design a ping pong ball launching device using common everyday materials. Then, get hands-on by assembling the catapult target, and engage in a collective challenge of throwing ping pong balls.
Gravity-Powered Car

The gravity-powered car is an open-ended maker project where kids use open-source materials to design a car without any power source. They will create and build a gravity-powered car and compete with it on wooden tracks of varying slopes.
Straw Construction

"The simpler the unit, the more limitless the creativity." Use the simplest materials from everyday life to achieve the craziest ideas. Strawbees provides a lever for everyone who loves to create, allowing your creativity to become an infinitely long arm, leveraging your big dreams.
Cam Mechanism

Automation devices were the early prototypes of robots and computers. Exploring automation devices can be a delightful endeavor. Let's try designing personalized automation devices together!
The Chronicles of Transforming Cardboard

Discarded cardboard boxes become magical tools that unlock creativity, instantly unleashing your artistic talents. You don't need fancy materials or environments; a free space becomes a paradise for kids, and it offers adults a chance to immerse themselves in playful moments of focus and enjoyment.
Transforming Waste Wood

Everything can be turned into treasure. MGA students can even give discarded wooden boards and can be given new life with a bit of creativity. In the everyday research and development process at MGA, we often generate wood boards of various shapes. With a little effort, we can transform into the following familiar scenes:
Rube Goldberg Machine

A Rube Goldberg machine is "a deliberately over-engineered contraption that performs a simple task in a convoluted and indirect way." Rube Goldberg machines often feature complex mechanical structures, precise designs, and calculations and are presented with great aesthetics and amusement.
